Mikado is a short story about collapses, a scenographic experiment in a stage setting of unstable, oversized Mikado sticks, where collapse is accepted as an integral part of the game. In this moving production, six acrobats explore the relationship between "us and our living environment," examining collapse as a universal physical phenomenon and playing with the idea of tearing down the old to build something new. A sensitive piece with impressive choreography and music, it vividly traces the significance of decline and resurgence in today's world.
