At first glance, one might wonder what the kind gentleman with the bundle of iron rods is up to. However, the longer Joan Català captivates one's attention, the more one grasps what these iron rods can achieve in the hands of an exceptional artist: producing wonderful sounds, connecting people, and creating a unique sense of community. In his immersive work, the Catalan artist combines the art of movement with object manipulation, collaboratively crafting a unique sound installation in public spaces with his audience.
