„A good life for everyone!“
Exhibition 100 Years of Caritas
Austria
The exhibition focuses on the experience of poverty and contrasts it with the aspiration for "a good life for all".
Understanding Poverty highlights vulnerability. Being impoverished is a profound and debilitating experience that can lead to questioning life's purpose. Those lacking protection, inclusion, relationships, self-worth, and optimism are deprived of the essential foundations for a fulfilling life.
A good life means ensuring that all individuals have the basic opportunities to pursue happiness according to their own aspirations.
An exhibition in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Caritas Steiermark, in collaboration with Akademie Graz, Armutskonferenz, Armutsnetzwerk Steiermark, Krankenhaus der Elisabethinen Graz, ifz Internationales Forschungszentrum für soziale und ethische Fragen, Plattform Sichtbar werden, La Strada Graz, VinziWerke, and Zentrum für Ethik und Armutsforschung ZEA at the University of Salzburg.
